Only shapes can be shape tweened As for the second part of your question. What I meant is that after you have created your new movie clip the "PreloaderAnim" we create a new key frame on the first frame and add to it the previously created movie clip "animation". Then on frame 25 of the PreloaderAnim hit F6 which will make a copy of the animation movie clip. To make the animation movie clip rotate we select the animation movie clip on frame 25 and rotate it 180 degrees clock-wise. Then select any frame between frame 1 and 25 and right-click and choose Create Shape Tween. You are now done with the settings and can add the code where specified in the tutorial and it should work. By the way I'm still a newbie at this myself, so there is no such thing as silly questions :P You can’t shape tween a movie clip. Only shapes can be shape tweened
